1. LoveStar
It's still here and, even more, freshly renovated(picture above). From my experiences so far, LoveStar is one of the most favorited bars by visitors. So come visit this newly decorated place, enjoy drinks and chill out.
2. Hue in Gangnam
Sadly it's not there anymore. Instead, the owner opened a new bar called, so familiar, Grindr in Jongro. Haven't been there yet but will try it and let you know soon how it is.
3. Others
Reportedly there're a couple of more new bars in Jongro area. Stay tuned for more updates of those new places.

Hi! I am Luis, From Madrid (Spain). My future husband (gay marriage) and i will visit Korea (Seoul, Sokcho, Daegu and Busan) next September for our marriage trip. I am looking for info about gay bars at these cities, mainly "Bears bars" (we are bears guys). I have seen some "bear" bars in your blog (Lovestar, GQ and Barcode) and i got info about them.
Please, i would like you can give us more info about anothers gay bear bars, especially map locations.

Hi Luis, Lovestar is more like just ㅁ fancy cocktail bar these days though still many big guys visit and cute bear owner is there. There's another bear place right next to Lovestar.Please be advised that Korean/Japanese bears are a bit different from Western bears like muscle and hair.. If you're up for more familiar type of bear guys, Barcode could be better for you per my personal opinion.
I googled myself the locations of the bar but couldn't get them as anticipated. So I will go out and let me get back to you with some more info any time soon. Happy trip planning! :-)

We are now on the map locating the sites we visited, both tourists and partying.
The information I have read your blog I have been very helpful thanks again. I noted the bars that I said, Lövestad, Barcode and GQ. Although I have also taken note of some bars in "Homo Hills", I believe that we are most interested are the first.
I will continue reading your blog and hoping to soon have new information.
